Now, Samantha’s words in one of her latest interviews about Ye Maaya Chesave’s re-release have caught the attention of many. As the film is all set to re-release on July 18, 2025, Samantha was asked whether she would promote it. Without thinking twice, she said that she has no interest in promoting the film with anyone and has decided to stay away from the re-release.

These statements have not gone down well with many, especially Naga Chaitanya’s fans, who were expecting Sam to promote Ye Maaya Chesave, even if it would be without Naga Chaitanya.

Now, Samantha is being trolled on social media, as many are posting messages claiming she is ignoring the film that made her a star. Naga Chaitanya and Samantha played the lead roles in Ye Maaya Chesave and fell in love during its shoot. Later, they got married, but unfortunately, their marriage ended in divorce.

While Naga Chaitanya has moved on, some overenthusiastic fans still want Samantha and Chaitanya to come together on stage to promote the film, something that clearly won’t happen.
