The songs composed by AR Rahman, promo videos and the recently released video of Raawadi song, featuring Sayyeshaa, have elevated hype associated with the project. It also marks the return of director Obeli N Krishna to Kollywood after almost a decade.

The social media page of Studio Green, which has co-produced Pathu Thala along with Pen Studios, has released a short video featuring Silambarasan expressing gratitude to his fans and others. The actor thanked everyone for generating the right buzz for the film and said that it is expected to have a good opening.

He added, "The movie is carrying a lot of buzz not because my previous outing performed well. It's only because of the support you have been showering on me. I can never forget your kind gesture and now I request you all to watch my new movie with your family."

According to Silambarasan, the film has come out well; Obeli has done justice to the story as a director and Rahman's songs have already found place in the hit chart. He further added that the team has pinned high hopes on the movie's success.
