A day after it was announced that actor Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film SK 26, will be bankrolled by actor and politician Kamal Haasan, the makers of the film dropped the first look poster of the project. Titled Seyon, the film’s first look poster was released along with other crucial information. The film will be directed by filmmaker Sivakumar Murugesan.

What is SK 26 first look poster about?

Actor Sivakarthikeyan, who was last seen in Parasakthi, has announced his next project. He will be collaborating with his Amaran producer Kamal Haasan, who will be producing SK 26 under his home production banner Raaj Kamal Films International. Amaran, which is streaming on Netflix, was a blockbuster success.

Titled Seyon, the first look poster shows Sivakarthikeyan in a rural getup, as he wields a machete and is surrounded by peacocks. The film is expected to be a rural entertainer. The film will be written and directed by Sivakumar Murugesan. Interestingly, the filmmaker's debut film Thaai Kizhavui is only slated for release on February 27, and is produced by Sivakarthikeyan himself. The technical crew of Seyan includes Santhosh Narayanan scoring the music and Vivek Vijayakumar cranking the camera. San Lokesh is the editor. Sivakarthikeyan had earlier said about the film, "It is a kind of a film people will expect from me. It will be a film that is expected from me by all.”

On the other hand, Thaai Kizhavi starring Radikaa Sarathkumar, has been postponed for release from February 20 to 27th.

Set against the backdrop of 1950-60s timeline, the film is about the anti-Hindi riots that took place in Tamil Nadu. Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa and Sreeleela also play important characters in the film.
