Special Ops 2 consists of 7 episodes in total, and each episode has suspense that hooks you to the plot till the climax takes place. The series, which is streaming on JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium, has been receiving love from fans. The story of Himmat Singh and his team facing a new AI threat and rescuing Dr. Bhargava (Arif Zakaria) from the hands of Sudheer Awasthi (Tahir Raj Bhasin), who is trying to cause a massive data breach in India by cyberattack. During the process, Himmat faced a shocking betrayal in his own RAW team. Did he succeed in the operation or give up?

Special Ops 2 ending explained

Special Ops 2 highlights the dangers of cyber terrorism and AI-driven attacks. The story revolves around the kidnapping of a scientist named Dr. Piyush Bhargava, who can access important government systems using artificial intelligence, by an unknown adversary. Opponent Sudheer Awasthi's goal is not destruction or terrorism, but rather to take control of India's UPI system, thereby bringing the nation to its knees. Himmat Singh and his team must race against time to track down Bhargava, identify the mastermind, and thwart the cyberattack.

Dr. Bhargava is taken to the fortress of Sudheer in Georgia, Enguri Dam, where he is asked to hack all the UPI systems in India by using AI technology. Meanwhile, in the RAW office, Himmat and his team have already tracked the location and assigned Farooq, Abhay, and other agents to rescue Bhargava.

Just before this scene, we saw that Sudheer calls a number registered in Bakshi's name, but Himmat's surveillance team catches the caller and reveals that he is Chadda, the mole in their group. Chadha created a fake SIM to frame Bakshi, who was already under suspicion, and Banerjee caught him. When Himmat interrogated Chaddha, he asked Banerjee to shoot him as he betrayed his team and nation.

How was Bhargava rescued?

Now, coming to the Bhargava rescue operation, Abhay and Farooq worked to disable the servers. While Farooq was climbing the walls of Sudhir's compound located on the embankment, Abhay drove an explosive-laden truck into the server room, causing the servers to go offline. Sudheer then got into a heated argument with Farooq, which ultimately resulted in his death. Thus, Bhargava was rescued and returned to his nation.

Kay Kay Menon returns as Himmat Singh, and other familiar faces from the previous season include Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak, Muzammil Ibrahim, Saiyami Kher, Gautami Kapoor, and Meher Vij. Apart from them, the cast also includes Prakash Raj (new addition), Tahir Raj Bhasin (antagonist), Dilip Tahil, Parmeet Sethi, Kali Prasad Mukherjee, Gautami Kapoor, Arif Zakaria, Kamakshi Bhat, Shikha Talsania, and Vikkas Manaktala.
