Sukhamano Sukhamanu: Mathew Thomas-Devika Sanjay's romcom to hit the big screen soon

The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Sukhamano Sukhamanu, has unveiled its first poster today (August 28). It has also been confirmed that the romantic comedy drama will have a theatrical release soon.

The movie, which is touted to be a feel-good romantic comedy, is directed and written by Arun Lal Ramachandran. Mathew Thomas appears in the lead role, while Jagadish, Sphadikam George, Kudassanad Kanakam, Nobi Marcos, Akhil Kavalayoor, Manikuttan, Jibin Gopinath, Abin Bino, Taba Reema, Gayathri Mayura, and Sandhya Manoj play supporting parts in the movie.

Devika Sanjay, who made her debut with Fahadh Faasil's Njan Prakashan, is the female lead of Sukhamano Sukhamanu. Actors, including Manju Warrier, shared this movie's first poster on their social media pages. Meanwhile, the makers have also confirmed that Sukhamano Sukhamanu's trailer will debut in theatres along with the Onam releases.

Mathew Thomas' Night Rider to release soon

In September, the actor's next movie, Night Riders, is expected to hit theatres. The movie, which has been marketed as an enjoyable horror comedy, is reportedly going to be distributed in theatres in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi in addition to Malayalam. Night Riders was written by Jyothish M and Sunu A V, who also wrote the screenplay for Pranaya Vilasam. Another protagonist in this Mathew Thomas film will be played by Meenakshi Unnikrishnan, who became well-known for her performance in Vaazha. Mathew Thomas plays a tough guy in the movie poster, which is very different from his other portrayals.

Two Malayalam films of the young star, who made his debut with Kumbalangi Nights, were released in 2025. His film Bromance, which also included key performances from Mahima Nambiar, Arjun Ashokan, and Sangeeth Prathap, is available for viewing on OTTplay Premium and Sony LIV.
