Tamil star Suriya’s next film with Telugu filmmaker Venky Atluri has unveiled its title. The film, tentatively titled Suriya 46, is now Vishwanath & Sons, the makers have revealed. The team also dropped an adorable first-look poster of the leading man, while confirming the release window to be July 2026.

As promised by the makers, the title, first-look poster and the release window of Suriya 46 were revealed at 10.18 am on March 2, 2026. The Suriya 46 team dropped an adorable poster of Suriya with a baby at what appears to be a posh building. The title is Vishwanath & Sons, Suriya said, while adding that ‘Love with a difference, family with a purpose — we arrive in July as a wholesome entertainer.’

The poster with a charming baby exudes feel-good vibes, and the star himself has said it would be a wholesome entertainer.

What is Vishwanath & Sons movie about

Suriya’s new movie Vishwanath & Sons is produced by Naga Vamsi, who had earlier revealed that the upcoming film revolves around the relationship between a middle-aged man and a young woman. Suriya plays the lead role, while Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju will be seen as his younger love interest.

But more details about the plot are not known immediately.

Apart from Suriya and Mamitha in lead roles, Vishwanath & Sons also features Bhavani Sre, and Radikaa Sarathkumar, who was recently seen in the Thaai Kizhavi movie. Hindi actress Raveena Tandon is also part of the upcoming film, marking her return to Tamil cinema more than 25 years after Kamal Haasan’s Aalavandhan in 2001.

The film’s director Venky Atluri previously helmed Lucky Baskhar, starring Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan, which was a hit at the box office. Suriya's last film was Kanguva, which failed to impress audiences. His upcoming movies include Karuppu and Suriya 47 with Malayalam filmmaker Jithu Madhavan.
