Due to its limited screening among other releases on the same day, many people missed the highly regarded movie's October premiere on big screen. As a result, many people eagerly anticipated its OTT debut. It was recently confirmed that popular Malayalam OTT site bagged its digital rights. Theatre became accessible on Manorama Max on February 20 at 12 am. What is the plot of Theatre - The Myth of Reality?

Meera and her mother live a tranquil existence on a remote island, gathering coconuts and other necessities to sell. The serpent gods, to whom their family has long offered prayers and pujas, are the focal point of their devotion. Soon after, Meera develops a rare skin condition that requires expensive hospital treatment. As a result, the mother and daughter are subjected to criticism on social media, where reality is sacrificed. Her mother, however, thinks that the curse of the snake deity is the cause of her illness and she can be cured by performing a rite. The main question of the film is whether science can help her heal or if her faith and spiritual intervention would be more important.
