Trailer of Theatre: The Myth of Reality

The opening scene of the two-minute, five-second movie features Rima Kallingal's figure worshipping in front of the serpent gods, or "Nagadevas," in a jungle. She is depicted disturbingly rubbing the sores all over her body giving the first glances of her 'unexplained' skin condition. It is clear that one group of people has a scientific explanation for her affliction, whereas her family and community believe it to be the curse of the snake god. It also hints at a troubled childhood that Rima's character had.

The video foreshadows a daring attempt to examine the ephemeral nature of the boundaries between reality and belief by displaying the conflict between science and superstitions. Overall, the film also reveals some notable performances by the main actors, particularly Sarasa Balussery and Rima Kallingal.
