War 2 wrap: Hrithik Roshan-Ayan Mukerji share mix bag of emotions as they celebrate with a massive cake

Hrithik Roshan and Ayan Mukerji got emotional as War 2's journey came to an end, but they also happened to tease about the situation with the help of the cake

It is finally a wrap for Hrithik Roshan-Jr. NTR-Kiara Advani's War 2. The movie, directed by Ayan Mukerji, was on floors for 149 days and has finally wrapped up. Now that it has (which the duo still questions if it has), both Ayan and Hrithik share a mixed bag of emotions.

Hrithik Roshan calls the journey 'worth it'

Hrithik Roshan took to Twitter and captioned the photo, "149 days of relentless chase, action, dance, blood, sweat, injuries... and it was all WORTH IT!" He added, "It's always bitter-sweet to call it a wrap for Kabir, it will take a couple of days to feel like myself again."

Hrithik Roshan on working with Jr. NTR-Kiara Advani

Hrithik tagged Jr. NTR to the post and called it an honour to work with the RRR actor. As for Kiara Advani, Hrithik promises she has a lethal side just waiting to unfold through the world of War 2. Thanking the crew, the actor reminded every fan that the movie would be out in theatres on August 14, 2025.

The most interesting part of the post was the image shared by Hrithik. The massive cake and the vibe on the sets spoke volumes about how everybody was feeling on the said day. Ayan's emotional side was clearly visible as he realized that the journey was coming to an end. Hrithik just sat nearby and absorbed the energy of the sets while trying to lighten the mood. The cake, however, stole the limelight with the caption, "Is it a wrap." This leaves one wondering what's coming next for the team, if there rather is more than what we will get to see.

For the uninitiated, War 2 is the next offering from the YRF Spy Universe. Apart from War, the Universe has introduced Salman Khan's Tiger franchise and Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, which will turn into a franchise soon. Alia Bhatt-Sharvari's Alpha is also officially a part of the Spy Universe and is expected to be the next offering after War 2.
