Youth, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Ken Karunaas, who will also directing it, has announced its release date in March. With a young cast and crew, what is noteworthy is that Youth will be clashing at the box office with two major pan-Indian films releasing on the same day.

Youth release date: When will Ken Karunaas film hit theatres?

We had earlier reported that actor Ken, who has appeared in films like Viduthalai and Asuran, will be starring in an upcoming college entertainer titled Youth. The film also marks the directorial debut of Ken. Already, the film has been getting a good word of mouth from the industry circles after the makers have screened special shows.

Recently, the makers of Youth have announced its release date. The film is slated for release on March 19. With the release date fixed, it is to be noted that March 19 slot has already been taken up by two pan-Indian films that are eagerly awaited by fans across country.

From south, Yash-starrer Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, and starring Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, and others, is coming on March 19. There is also sequel, Dhurandhar 2 starring Ranveer Singh releasing on the same day. The Hindi spy action thriller is one of the awaited films of this year, given the first part became the highest grosser in 2025 and was a smash hit. Amid these two biggies, Youth, which is touted as a vibrant, youthful entertainer will be making its way.

What do we know about Youth so far?

With Ken taking up both direction and acting, Youth will also star Suraj Venjaramoodu, Devadarshini, Anishma Anilkumar, Meenakshi Dinesh, and Priyanshi Yadav among others. GV Prakash is scoring the music for Youth. Recently, the first single, Mutta Kalakki was released by the makers. The film is shot by cinematographer Viki and edited by Nash.
