Mumbai turned into wedding mode as Arjun Tendulkar, the son of former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, exchanged vows with Saaniya Chandhok in a stunning ceremony in the city. While the Tendulkar family has always maintained a degree of privacy, the sheer skill of this wedding made it possible to keep the shutters completely closed. In a video circulating on social media, fans worldwide have been treated to glimpses of this wedding.

The grand entrance

In the viral video footage circulating on social media platforms, Arjun Tendulkar looked every bit the real groom in a bespoke cream-colored shirwani with gold threadwork all around it.

The video gained more love as a cute moment was visible when Sachin Tendulkar, who was visibly emotional, assisted Arjun with his sehra.

Meantime, the bride, Saaniya Chandhok, who is a graduate from the London School of Economics and a successful entrepreneur, also stole the show in a traditional red lehenga, which she wore with hand-woven zardosi.

The video also showcased a breathtaking decor at the South Mumbai venue, where the theme appeared to be Varanasi Elegance, featuring thousands of lotus flowers and diyas reflecting the vibes of Varanasi. The couple's varamala took place against a black backdrop with a digital waterfall, which also blended beautifully, showcasing an ancient tradition with modern technology.
