Rahul hit his 11th test ton

KL Rahul, who started the 2025-26 season with an incredible series against England a few months back, continued his form at home as well.

Against the West Indies at Ahmedabad, Rahul struck an impressive 100 from 197 balls to mark his 11th test century, his second at home. Not only that, Rahul, who now has 10 test tons as an opener, went past Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma’s record to become the Indian opener with the fourth most test centuries.

Rahul’s special celebration for his daughter

Rahul’s celebration after reaching his century was both unique and touching. He raised his bat, kissed the Indian badge on his helmet, and then paid tribute to his newborn daughter, Evaarah, by placing his middle and ring fingers in his mouth, a gesture that beautifully marked his new chapter as a father.
