Upcoming Malayalam comedy drama Cop Uncle will have a theatrical release soon. The film, which stars Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead role, will hit the big screen on May 24. Debutante Vinay Jose has directed this movie, which also features Saiju Kurup, Aju Varghese, and Shritha Sivadas in pivotal roles. The second poster of the film revealed its release date. “Double the laughs, double the fun,” wrote Dhyan on his Instagram page, along with the poster.
All about Cop Uncle
With Cop Uncle, Dhyan Sreenivasan also took on the role of scriptwriter, so viewers can expect a lighthearted treat from the movie. Within two weeks of its theatrical debut, the young star's latest film, Varshangalkku Shesham, directed by his brother Vineeth Sreenivasan, surpassed Rs 50 crore at the box office. The public is responding extremely well to the film.

The film's supporting cast includes Jaffer Idukki, Johny Antony, and Vasisht Umesh. In March, Shane Nigam released the first look poster via social media, calling the film “a hilarious rollercoaster ride of laughter and entertainment!”. “Get ready to redefine your laughter limits with this comedic masterpiece coming this Summer 2024,” he wrote.
Kannan Mohan has helmed the editing work for Cop Uncle, while Rojo Thomas is the cinematographer. Jai Ganesh-fame Sankar Sharma has composed the soundtracks for this movie. Marco D Muse has created the background scores.
Other Malayalam releases in May
