Night Swim

 Ray Waller, a young and retired basketball player, moves into a new home with his wife and two kids following a painful illness causing him to fall out of his profession. The house sports a major attraction for both Waller and his family- a backyard pool to aid his physical therapy and a source of entertainment for the rest of the family. Soon enough, they begin to experience a strange but powerful presence from the pool. Digging deeper only reveals a dark secret underlying their new home. But would it be too late before they are pulled into an unstoppable nightmare? 

The film is Bryce McGuire's debut directorial feature which he's also responsible for writing. It is based on a 2014 short story of the same name by McGuire and Rod Blackhurst. The cast consists of Wyatt Russell, Kerry Condon, Amélie Hoeferle and Gavin Warren featuring as the family. Producers from Atomic Monster, Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions have worked on Night Swim.
