There is still Wanted Man on the list from last month and Copshop announced much earlier and released it this week.
About Adrift
Adrift stars Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin and is directed by Baltasar Kormákur. Adapted from a real-life story, it is about a couple who happen to meet by chance and fall in love. But soon, on a sea adventure, they are hit by a hurricane, leaving them in distress. The movie is a survival drama that puts the couple in a situation that is not just difficult but also testing. There is drama, thrills, and a lot of shocking moments. The movie mostly celebrates Shailene’s amazing performance, which was appreciated by critics back in the day.
Shailene Woodley had said that stories like Adrift are important. “These stories are always important to tell,” Woodley told Variety. “This movie was important to tell in the ’80s; it was important to tell in the ’90s, and it didn’t get made, and it happened to get made now, and for whatever divine reason, a lot of conversation is surrounding this transition, not only in Hollywood, but in the world in balancing the scales, and any way to support that; I feel honored.”
