The Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga revealed the reason at a press meet as to why he wanted to touch Ranbir Kapoor’s feet

With the countdown of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ already begun, every cinegoer is eagerly awaiting to see the film. The film’s makers are also equally excited for the film. The film, which is being readied to be released in theatres on December 1, has, by now, become the talking point of almost every discussion. The film’s makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the film hits the bull’s eye. Since the film is being released in multiple languages, the film’s makers and the stars are travelling the length and breadth of the country to promote the film.
It was during one such event which had taken place in south India, the film’s makers were on stage promoting the film with the leading stars of the film. When asked about Ranbir Kapoor, the film’s director Sandeep Reddy Vanga without batting an eyelid said that (in Telugu), even though Ranbir was younger than him in age but, seeing his acting and dedication, he wanted to touch his feet and take blessings. He also added that he had never seen that kind of patience Ranbir Kapoor has. Hearing this, everyone in the audience gave a huge round of applause for Sandeep’s honest and heartfelt answer about Ranbir Kapoor.
Present on the dais during the Animal press conference was the film’s director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, music baron cum producer Bhushan Kumar, who has produced the film ‘Animal’, along with Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Pranay Reddy Vanga. As for Sandeep Reddy Vanga, besides directing the film and writing the film’s story, he has also written the film’s screenplay alongwith Pranay Reddy Vanga and Saurabh Gupta.
A recent buzz about the film also stated that the film ‘Animal’ had commonalities with yet another Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Sanju’. To which, Ranbir Kapoor clarified at a media meet saying, “I think after looking at the first shot of the trailer, many people feel that I appear like Sanju sir (Sanjay Dutt) because of my hairstyle and clean-shaven look. But, let me clarify that the film (Animal) has no reference taken from Sanju. Aisa kucch nahi hai!”
