Shriya Pilgaonar started her Bollywood career with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Fan in 2015. The actress did a few films later; however, she rose to fame with her web show, Mirzapur. The actress played a pivotal role in the series. As of now, Shriya is gearing up for the release of her new OTT project, The Broken News 2. While Shriya will be busy promoting the show on her birthday (April 25), you can binge-watch some of her edge-of-the-seat OTT releases on different platforms.

Shriya Pilgaonkar's shows to watch on OTT

Mirzapur

The first season of Mirzapur was released in 2018 and instantly struck the right chord with the masses. Backed by Excel Entertainment, Mirzapur featured actors like Shriya Pilgaonkar, Shweta Tripathi, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Divyenndu in pivotal roles. Shriya played Swarigini Gupta in Mirzapur. If you missed watching the hit series in 2018, you can revisit the same on Amazon Prime Video now. The good news is that the third season of the web show will drop soon on the streaming platform.

The Broken News

Directed by Vinay Waikul, The Broken News was a newsroom drama featuring Shriya as an ethical journalist, Radha. The actress shared screen space with Sonali Bendre (who plays Ameena Qureshi) and Jaideep Ahlawat (who plays Dipankar Sanyal) in the show. The web show, which is the Indian remake of the British series Press, premiered on ZEE5 in 2022. Two years down the line, the makers are ready with The Broken News 2, which will be released on May 3, 2024.

Taaza Khabar

Helmed by Himank Gaur, Taaza Khabar is yet another edge-of-the-seat web show, starring Shriya Pilgaonkar in a pivotal role. The fantasy comedy thriller is a story about Vasant Gawade, a sanitation worker who comes across a magical boon that can predict the future and create curls in his life and that of everyone around him. In this series, Shriya was seen as Madhubala, aka Madhu. The show, which premiered on Disney+ Hotstar, has been renewed for a second season.

Guilty Minds

Shefali Bhushan and Jayant Digambar Somalkar's legal drama Guilty Minds starred Shriya as lawyer Kashaf Quaze. The story of the web show revolves around three law school friends who are often pitted against each other in the courtroom. Varun Mitra played Dipak Rana, while Sugandha Garg was seen as Vandana Kathpalia. Consisting of 10 episodes, Guilty Minds dropped on Amazon Prime Video in 2022.
