Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is the talk of the town for various reasons. Firstly, the star cast consists of big names like Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chillar, and Alaya F. Secondly, the budget, which is said to be over a whopping Rs 300 crore, and thirdly, the underwhelming response it has been getting at the box office, which is indeed a worrisome trajectory. However, the makers were surrounded by another tension recently when viral videos on the internet claimed that the makers featured a blast in a mosque in the movie, hurting the religious sentiments of many. The makers have now come out to defend and clarify that it is not a mosque, and they would never opt for something like that.

Makers React To Mosque Blast Scene Rumours

The report comes after a video on social media apps shows a scene where a structure with a dome on top of it was seen being blasted in the movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and it was said to be a mosque. This led to outrage against the movie and the makers on the internet, and the makers had to finally come out and shun the rumors, giving clarity on the scene. For the ones who have seen the film know it is a nuclear facility that is blasted in the film, not a mosque. The makers released a statement to clarify the same.

The statement (via Mid-day) read, "There are certain videos on the internet falsely claiming a bomb explosion in a mosque in our film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. As makers, we wish to mention that we respect all cultural and religious identities and that the explosion in our film takes place in a Nuclear facility which has a Dome and has got no connection to any place of religious worship or mosque."

About Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

Meanwhile, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is having a tough time at the box office. The movie has failed to meet all the expectations trade experts had for it. While the movie was said to get an opening of Rs 20 crore, it earned much less than that. Even at the worldwide box office, it took two days to even cross the Rs 50 crore mark, which for any other movie of a comparatively smaller scale would have been decent, but for a movie set on such a massive scale, these numbers are not profitable.
