Bhakshak trailer – Fans laud Bhumi Pednekar and Aditya Srivastava, says ‘Nailed it!’

Netflix on Wednesday dropped the highly awaited trailer for its upcoming crime thriller ‘Bhakshak,’ starring Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role as a journalist. The Red Chillies Entertainment film received promising feedback from fans after they hailed the actors, especially CID fame Aditya Srivastava and Bhumi Pednekar. They also clapped for the makers for uncovering a tragic crime inspired by real incidents. Here’s what fans are saying after watching the newly unveiled trailer of Bhakshak, which is slated for a February 9 release date.

Bhumi Pednekar returns to highlight the prevalent social issues and this time she is heading the Red Chillies Production in the role of a strong female protagonist, journalist Vaishali Singh. In the 2:38-minute trailer, we see that there is something fishy about the girls' shelter house and its facilitators. Despite challenges and dangerous warnings, reporter Vaishali will lead the search for truth and justice for the innocent victims.

Based on a real-life incident, Bhakshak directed by Pulkit, chronicles the story of a girls' shelter home concealing a heinous crime. Hailing the Dum Laga Ke Haisha actress, fans were overwhelmed to see her determined character and said, “Looks like it's going to be an epic watch! Bhumi Pednekar is nailing it with all her performances, especially these kinds of roles absolutely suit her”

Some fans were mesmerized by the soul-searching dialogues that stirred our inner voice. The last dialogue in the trailer where the reporter poignantly asked the question to viewers if they consider themselves human or predators(Bhakshak). “Wow.... especially the last lines.
