Bigg Boss 17’s Sana Raees Khan slapped with Rs 10 crore defamation case by Faizan Ansari

Sana Raees Khan, a contestant on Bigg Boss 17, is a well-known criminal defence attorney well recognised for having defended Aryan Khan in the Mumbai Cruise Drugs Case in 2021. She is currently involved in another controversy. Actor and social media star Faizan Ansari has made severe accusations against Sana, calling her a "criminal" and "fake." Sana allegedly used Aryan Khan's name to achieve recognition, as claimed by Ansari.

Sana Raees Khan did not represent Aryan Khan in the narcotics case, according to bold claims made by Faizan Ansari during a recent media appearance. Instead, he claimed that she represented a man by the name of Evin Sahu, who was also on board the cruise ship at the time the Mumbai Police apprehended and arrested Aryan Khan and his friends. Furthermore, according to Faizan Ansari, Aryan Khan was represented in court by his lawyer and advocate, Ali Kashif. He charged Sana with using the reputation of Aryan and her association with them to increase her notoriety.

Ansari said bluntly, “She calls herself a criminal lawyer, but she is a fraudster and a criminal. Forget fighting his case; she has never met Aryan or Shah Rukh Khan in her dreams also.”

Sana is being sued for defamation for Rs 10 crore by Faizan Ansari for using his name and the identity of his attorney, Ali Kashif, for her advantage and for lying about representing Aryan Khan.

Faizan Ansari responded to these claims by saying that he had personally complained about Sana to the Mumbai Police Commissioner. He said that because no advocate was willing to take on his case, he decided to represent himself.

Previous controversy about Sana Raees Khan

Since the first day, Sana's participation in the Bigg Boss 17 house has received negative press. Ashutosh J. Dubey, an attorney with the Bombay High Court, lodged a complaint with the Bar Council of India for "violation of Bar Council rules" as soon as she entered the home.

Dubey deemed it "a serious matter of professional misconduct" and said Khan should be banned from taking part in the reality show.
