Confirmed! Challenging Star Darshan’s Kaatera trailer to be out on THIS date

The buzz on social media today was that the team of Challenging Star Darshan’s Kaatera had a surprise in store for his fans. Since they’d already released two songs, the expectation was that it would be word on the trailer and that it would be out earlier than has been reported. As the day progressed, though, it was said that there’d be an update on December 13 only. Fans are absolutely sure that director Tharun Kishore Sudhir will bring the trailer this week, as they’ve been urging him for the same. When OTTplay had earlier checked in with the film’s publicity team, we were told that the trailer would be out much later, with a tentative date pegged as December 23, which would be only six days before the film comes to theatres.

According to the buzz on social media, fans are expecting the trailer of Kaatera on December 14 or December 16. We can tell you that the trailer will definitely be out on December 16. The exact time of the trailer drop and if there will be an on-ground event for the same will be announced tomorrow. The team may also release another song or two prior to the film’s theatrical outing. So far, the two songs that have come out have received mixed response. V Harikrishna’s compositions have been dubbed outdated. Netizens have also not taken a fancy to the onscreen pairing of the Challenging Star and newbie Aradhanaa Ram, the daughter of veteran actress Malashree. Aradhanaa, reckon netizens, is way too young to be romancing Darshan.

Kaatera, meanwhile. Is Tharun’s second film with Darshan after Roberrt. A period film set in the 70s, it is based on a real incident that happened in the Mandya belt, and will address an important agrarian issue. The film also stars Jagapathi Babu, Kumar Govind, Shruthi, among others.
