Deepika Padukone had an intimate dinner with Ranveer Singh to celebrate her 38th birthday.

On Friday, January 5th, Deepika Padukone celebrated her 38th birthday by going out to dinner with her actor-husband Ranveer Singh. After the dinner outing, the star couple was seen leaving the Taj Colaba and getting into their car. The couple avoided the spotlight and did not wave to the press as they always do, keeping it intimate and quiet.
Deepika finally revealed a glimpse of her birthday on social media today. The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress posted a photo of a cake with the words "Happy Birthday Baby" written on it to her Instagram account. The only birthday peek we get of Deepika is via the specially curated cake her husband, Ranveer Singh, we assume, baked for her. However, she did not reveal any of this in her caption. Her caption read: "Thank you all for the birthday love!🥂"
Meanwhile, when the power couple was spotted yesterday night, it showed Ranveer, dressed in a black shirt and matching pants, opening the car door for her wife. He even told his guards about the paps with an expression and quickly entered the car. Subsequently, Deepika was also seen entering the car.
Deepika Padukone projects
Deepika is currently gearing up for the release of Fighter, her next major motion picture. A behind-the-scenes movie from the film's sets was given to fans as a birthday present by the directors. Viacom18 Studios, the film's production company, shared a glimpse of Deepika Padukone's character, Minni, on Instagram. It was shared with the caption: "Fearless, fiery with a heart of a #Fighter. Happy Birthday, @deepikapadukone! #Fighter Forever #FighterOn25thJan."
Helmed by Sidharth Anand, the movie is all set to release on January 25. Fighter also stars Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles.
Apart from Fighter, Deepika will also be seen in Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898 AD. The film is being directed by Nag Ashwin. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
The actress will also feature in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan. The Intern featured Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro in the lead roles.
Ranveer Singh's projects
Ranveer, on the other hand, is all set to star in Farhan Akhtar's Don 3. The actor will also be seen in Rohit Shetty's Singham 3. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Ajay Devgn.
