The release date of the first look of Blessy’s Aadujeevitham, also called The Goat Life, has been announced by the makers. The official poster will be unveiled by Telugu superstar Prabhas through his social media account at 5 pm on January 10. Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing the lead role in this survival drama, which is based on Benyamin's Malayalam novel Aadujeevitham. The film is expected to hit the big screen on April 10.

This is the actor’s highly anticipated film this year, amongst other releases such as Vilayath Buddha and Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil. He is playing Najeeb, a Malayali labourer who is compelled to work as a goatherd on a remote Saudi Arabian farm.

To the surprise of his fans and with many praising his commitment to his work, he had shed a significant amount of weight in preparation for this role. When the movie's trailer was released in April last year, the actor's appearance startled onlookers and raised expectations for both the film and his performance.

For the better part of the last 20 years, Blessy has been working on the movie to bring it to life as he had imagined. Aadujeevitham's production had begun a year prior to the pandemic, with the majority of the movie filmed in Kerala, Jordan, and Algeria. The director himself has penned the screenplay for the film.

Blessy, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and Steven Adams are bankrolling this movie. The soundtracks and background music have been composed by A R Rahman. Sunil K S has helmed the camera work, while A Sreekar Prasad is the editor. Amala Paul is playing the female lead in Aadujeevitham. Magic Frames will distribute this movie in theatres.

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s upcoming projects

The actor’s latest film, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, is successfully running in theatres on the fourth week of its release across India. He will also be seen in the Hindi film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Prithviraj’s directorial L2: Empuraan is also progressing.
