“I’m from the olden days” – Jennifer Aniston REVEALS her rejecting a coordinator for her intimate scene in The Morning Show

The show takes a dramatic turn when the male co-anchor is removed from the program amidst accusations of sexual misconduct. As information about these accusations unfolds, the narrative examines the #MeToo movement from diverse viewpoints.

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon talk about the show

Recently the main leads, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon got candid about their show, and talked about their experiences while working for The Morning Show with Variety. For the unversed, Aniston and Witherspoon are also the co-producers of The Morning Show. It's been more than twenty years that Aniston and Witherspoon have been friends. The duo first collaborated in the FRIENDS sitcom, where they played the role of siblings. The Morning Show Season 3 was recently released in September with ten episodes on AppleTV+.

However, when the interviewer asked how it felt when they heard about a trip into space, Jennifer replied, “Wow. Going into space, huh? Personally, I was like, “I would never do that! You’ve got to be out of your freaking mind!” To that Reese immediately acknowledged Aniston and said, “I would never do that either!”

Later when the interviewer asked Aniston how she and Jon Hamm prepared themselves for the intimate scene in The Morning Show, as it's quite expressive, to that question, Jennifer revealed that director Mimi Leader asked her if she needed any intimate coordinator to feel less uncomfortable, but she clearly rejected it.

Aniston shared her view on the intimate scene

“Having Mimi there, you’re protected. I never felt uncomfortable. Jon was such a gentleman, always.” The 54-year-old actress said, “I mean every move, every cut, ‘You OK?’ It was also very choreographed. That’s the beauty of Mimi and our gorgeous editor, the music and lighting. So, you don’t prepare. They asked us if we wanted an intimacy coordinator. I’m from the olden days, so I was like, ‘What does that mean?’ They said, ‘When someone asks you if you’re OK,’ and I’m like, ‘Please, this is awkward enough!’ We are seasoned. We can figure this one out. And we had Mimi there.”

Back in November, AppleTV confirmed that The Morning Show’s Season 4 has been renewed even before Season 3 was aired. Hence, Season 4 is currently under production, and it is definitely happening, although they did not reveal the release date.
