It looks like September 28 is going to be a packed one for movie buffs. Jayam Ravi's Iraivan, Siddharth's Chithha and Raghava Lawrence's Chandramukhi 2 are all set to hit screens on the same day. Here's a quick glimpse at all the three films.

Iraivan

Jayam Ravi's psychopath thriller Iraivan revolves around 'Smiley Killer' Bramma (Rahul Bose) who kills young women ruthlessly. Jayam Ravi plays a top cop, who is on a mission to hunt him down. Since the film has many gory scenes and brutal killings, it has been given an 'A' certificate.  Jayam Ravi himself had asked children to avoid the film. Nayanthara plays the leading lady.  Music for the thriller is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Iraivan is bankrolled by Passion Studio. The film will hit screens in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada

Chandramukhi 2

As the title suggests, Chandramukhi 2 will revolve around Vettaiyan Raja and dancer Chandramukhi, the characters essayed by Rajinikanth and Jyotika in the 2005 movie. The film will delve into the past of Chandramukhi. This will mark the third project of Kangana Ranaut in Tamil and her maiden venture with Raghava Lawrence. Music for the film is by Keeravani. While RD Rajasekar has handled the cinematography, Anthony has handled the editing. The film is bankrolled by Lyca Productions and is helmed by P Vasu, who directed Chandramukhi in 2005.

Chithha

Siddharth's Chithha revolves around the relationship between an uncle and his his niece. When an untoward incident turns their life topsy turvy, Siddharth's character goes great lengths to get justice for his niece. The film is being lauded by filmmakers and Siddharth's performance in the hard-hitting emotional drama has come in for a lot of praise. The film, helmed by SU Arun Kumar, also stars Nimisha Sajayan.
