As we now move to 2024 and look at the new rosters, while Hollywood seems to have an influx of big projects, for Marvel Studios, the year is mostly a break year. Even for the streaming wing that exists on the Disney+ platform, the studio only has three confirmed shows at this point, and fans have a lot of questions. 2022-2023 came with many new shows based on different characters, and fans have been wanting to know what their future holds. One of them is, of course, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. There have been no updates on the second season.

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law was released on Disney+ in August 2022 and opened to mixed responses. While the audience loved the peppy nature of the show and the humor, many were left questioning what this leads to and why it doesn’t seem concrete. However, many IPs in the MCU have been suffering the same criticism for a while now. However, it has been over 1.5 years now, but there is no update on the second season at all.

What Is She-Hulk About?

Taking the story of Bruce Banner ahead, She-Hulk, aka Jennifer Walters, is his cousin who, in an accident, is infused with Banner’s blood, and the reactions make her She-Hulk, possessing powers like our green giant and sometimes even stronger. The show follows her realizing her new powers and coming to terms with the new life where she is also a superhero just like her cousin, who has worked with the Avengers in beating Thanos.

She-Hulk stars Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Ginger Gonzaga, Jameela Jamil, and the ensemble. The show even marked Daredevil Charlie Cox’s second MCU appearance after the iconic Spider-Man: No Way Home cameo. The show has some very good performances from the ensemble.

But Is She-Hulk Season 2 Even Happening?

There have been several reports doing rounds on the internet. Some said that the studio is indeed planning a season 2 for She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. But there were also some later that said that the studio has planned to scrap the same. However, one has to also believe Kevin Feige, who has said that the characters that are introduced in their standalone shows will have a future in the main timeline, aka the films. However, to do so, they need to be edged out in their shows well to then enter the films.

It was in a Screenrant interview that Tatiana Maslany gave a very unsettling update where she said that she hadn’t heard anything about it yet. She said, “I mean, I don’t think so, yet. Kevin, in the scene, seems to be very dismissive of this idea, so, if we’re basing this off of the real Kevin, it doesn’t seem likely. But he was also, I think, just trying to get rid of Jen because she was asking too many questions... I don’t know. If I could be coy and have some little secret, I would do that. But, I really don’t. I don’t know anything.”

Where Does She-Hulk Go In Season 2?

While Kevin Feige has also confirmed that these shows are built for multiple seasons, series writer Cody Ziglar recently posted a picture of She-Hulk gift wraps on his Instagram story with the subtitles of season one, and fans were quick to take this as a hint for season 2. The show could also have Jennifer Walters and Daredevil’s relationship at the center of Hulk’s son Skaar taking the spotlight with Walters.

Talking of these infinite possibilities, director Kat Coiro told Direct, “I mean, what’s so exciting to me is you have this premise of a superhuman law firm that kind of lends itself to infinite possibilities. You could literally have any character who has ever existed in the MCU or who will ever exist pass through these doors, and it wouldn’t feel like a gratuitous cameo. It would feel completely organic. So I think the sky’s the limit in terms of what they can do with this moving forward.”
