Jailer: Makers of Rajinikanth's next to come up with updates after completing THIS post-production work

The first single from Rajinikanth's Jailer was expected to be released this month, but makers are yet to come up with an update on the same. The film is hitting screens on August 10. With less than 50 days left for the release, cinephiles are wondering about the delay in unveiling updates.

The shooting of the project was wrapped up a few weeks ago and the team had revealed stills from the location featuring Rajini, Tamannaah and others. Fans of the Superstar say it's time the team comes up with at least a teaser.

However, it is heard that the makers are busy with the last leg of dubbing. A picture featuring Shivarajkumar and director Nelson did the rounds recently; the Kannada star has finished his part now. Rajinikanth and others will be wrapping up their dubbing portions in the coming days.

A host of updates, including the much-awaited first single, will be out as soon as the team is done with the post-production work. A source informs us that there will be regular updates from the first week of July. Ayngaran International and Gokulam Gopalan have acquired theatrical rights in overseas and Kerala recently.

The team had revealed a promo sometime ago which had the Superstar making a dashing entry from the backseat of an SUV, sending fans into a tizzy. The pulsating background score by Anirudh was more than enough to make fans go gaga over the powerful presence of Rajinikanth.

Jailer marks the third collaboration of Anirudh and the star after Karthik Subbaraj's Petta and ARMurugadoss's Darbar. The two will be uniting again in TJ Gnanavel's Thalaivar 170 which will be kicking off later this year.
