Seems like we are back in 2018, where the world is excited for the next superhero movie to drop regardless of where it comes from. Both the MCU and DCU are now gearing up for a comeback and in a much bigger way. While Marvel Studios has been throwing happy bombs at us every day ever since they gave the first look of Deadpool & Wolverine, it turns out the DCU has joined too. We have now gotten new fresh stills from Joker: Folie à Deux, aka Joker 2.

Todd Phillips Confirms Teaser Release Window

The new stills that dropped from Joker 2 are a more detailed gateway into Harley Quinn’s part in the film. Lady Gaga plays the complex character who is madly in love with Joker, played by Joaquin Phoenix, and their story is one that can make you go crazy. Todd Phillips shared the three fresh stills on his Instagram handle, where he also had a very interesting caption to share. But what caught our attention was him revealing the release window of the first teaser of the movie in the comments section of the same post.

Todd Phillips decided to share stills of Joker and Harley Quinn together from Joker: Folie à Deux as they together are the most iconic couple of the DCU. The filmmaker in the caption wrote, “Hope your day is full of love. 10.4.24.” The stills have the two in different moments, and it is a wave of emotions fans are processing at the moment. But the real buzz happened in the comment section where a fan asked, “When is the trailer coming?????”

The question reached Todd Phillips, who decided to answer the question once and for all. He revealed that the movie is releasing in October and one shouldn’t expect the first teaser before mid-April 2024. “Been getting this question a lot. The movie comes out in October. So our first teaser won't be out until mid-April,” he wrote.
