Kevin Spacey is up to his old tricks again! He released a new Christmas video where he puts on his House of Cards costume and talks like his character, Francis Underwood. Just like every year, he uses Francis' voice to chat about all the big problems in the US, this time with his pal Tucker Clarkson by his side. This year, the duo discussed the presidential election of 2024.

Kevin Spacey's reaction on Netflix

When Tucker asked him, “Every time a person pulls up the Netflix app. You’re there in some way, have you seen this? Spacey can be seen getting angry about Netflix cutting ties with him. He says they did it based on accusations that were not even true, and that he is the reason Netflix is successful. He even slams his fist on the table like the character Frank does in the show.

For the unversed, in 1986, at the age of 14, actor Anthony Rapp attended a party where he encountered Kevin Spacey, who was 26 at the time. Later in 2017, Rapp publicly stated that Spacey engaged in inappropriate behaviour towards him, and filed a lawsuit against Spacey.

Following numerous accusations of sexual misconduct throughout the years, Kevin Spacey maintained his innocence throughout legal proceedings. In 2022, a New York civil court found him not guilty, and in early 2023, a London jury acquitted him of all criminal charges.

About House of Cards

House of Cards captivated audiences with its dark portrayal of Washington politics, thanks to Kevin Spacey's chillingly charismatic turn as Frank Underwood. However, Netflix ended the contract with Spacey in 2017, due to the sexual misconduct accusations.

Kevin Spacey slams the US election process

While talking about America’s current situations with Clarkson, Spacey said that instead of focusing on individual personalities, people should prioritise finding experienced and capable leaders who can effectively address the challenges that the US is facing. This may require compromise and a willingness to work together for the common good. While it's important to acknowledge diverse viewpoints on issues like gun control, productive discourse should be encouraged over provocative activities. Promoting more civil and constructive national dialogue can help the nation move forward as a united country.

When Clarkson asked him what is his thoughts of 2024 election, Kevin replied, “It’s a little bit like jumping in the jacuzzi with a boner. You know it ain’t gonna last forever. So I wasn’t surprised when Mike ‘A Little Too Pensive’ dropped out right away.”

Kevin Spacey's upcoming film in 2024

Kevin Spacey was last seen in the thriller drama Control, which is his first post-trial film. He will next seen in Peter Five Eight, another thriller drama next year, that tells a story about a seemingly glamorous real estate agent in a small mountain community who is revealed to be an unhinged alcoholic with a dark secret when a charismatic man in black shows up one day at the behest of his shadowy boss.
