Shefeek's do-good nature lands him into trouble after he decides to bring a gift from Dubai for a doctor who had helped him out of a predicament years ago. The police arrive at his doorstep just before his engagement, leading to a tumultous period in his life. The Anup Pandalam directorial has Unni Mukundan, Bala and Divya Pillai.

Operation Java director Tharun Moorthy's social drama, which is based on several real-life incidents, deals with a legal case - the trial of which lasts for 13 years - and has huge ramifications on the people involved. The film, produced by the makers of Fahadh Faasil's Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, has Lukman Avaran, Binu Pappu, Devi Varma, Dhanya Ananya, Riya Saira and Gokulan as part of the cast.

Alphonse Puthren's directorial, which has Prithviraj Sukumaran, Nayanthara, Roshan Mathew and Baburaj, is a comedy thriller that revolves around a pick-up truck containing 200 bars of smuggled gold that is abandoned in the front of its protagonist's house. The movie also has Chemban Vinod Jose, Jagadish, Vinay Forrt and several surprise cameos.

Psychologist Rani and wife Padmaja settle into their home, but the differences in their background soon comes into play when the latter is attracted to another man. The film, which is scripted and directed by Anoop Menon, has National Award-winner Surabhi Lakshmi essaying the titular role.

Jana Gana Mana, which is split into two halves – as a crime drama and a legal thriller, revolves around the investigation carried out by ACP Sajjan on the alleged rape and murder of a college lecturer in Karnataka. His measures to carry out 'instant' justice, however, is questioned when he is put on trial with Aravind Swaminathan (Prithviraj Sukumaran) representing the Human Rights Commission.
