Manjmeel Boys is Malayalam cinema's biggest hit to date and has grossed over Rs 225 crore worldwide. This shows what kind of a hit the film survival thriller is in all areas of its release. Manjummel Boys was dubbed in Telugu by Mythri Movie Makers. Though they did not promote the film much, the collections of the Telugu version are quite impressive.

Manjummel Boys has completed nine days of its run and made Rs 9.2 crore gross in Telugu states. These impressive collections have landed Mythri Movie Makers massive profits. The word is that they have not even spent Rs 2 crore on the Telugu rights to the film. Chidambaram directed Manjummel Boys, which is about a group of boys who go on a holiday in Tamil Nadu and get stuck in the Guna Caves. How they come out of it is the basic premise of the film.

Manjummel Boys was released on April 6, 2024, a day after Vijay Deverakonda's Family Star. Although the family drama failed to attract an audience from day one, Manjummel Boys saw an advantage at the box office, and more screens were given to the film.
In the last few months, Malayalam cinema has been going great guns and the dubbed versions of Bramayugam, Premalu, and now Manjummel Boys have worked well at the box office. In the days to come, there is news that the Fahadh Faasil starrer, Aavesham, will also be dubbed in Telugu, and plans are being made for the same.

The OTT rights of Manjummel Boys are with Disney + Hotstar and we need to see if the Telugu version lands on Hostar or goes to a different OTT platform. For now, the makers are happy that Manjummel Boys has ended as a profitable bet in Telugu states. Watch this space for more updates.
