Matthew Perry's Friends costars Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courtney Cox, and others mourn his death at funeral service

Everyone's beloved Friends actor, Matthew Perry rested in peace on Friday afternoon as his close friends and family gathered together to bid goodbye to him at his funeral service held in Los Angeles. The actor had passed away on October 28 at 54.

Private Funeral Service...

The funeral service, which was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles near Warner Bros. Studios was convened by the late actor's close relatives and friends to mourn his sad demise. Amongst the attendees were his Friends castmates Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer, as reported by People.

Friends cast speaks up

In a joint statement released earlier, the iconic series cast members expressed their pain and broken heart after the sudden death of their co-star, who was also a part of the family.

“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world,” the five castmates had said.

Perry had been utterly open about his addiction battle and committed to helping those in need to defeat their drug/alcohol addictions. His sudden demise may have halted him from being a part of the public service but those closer to him carried his legacy by setting up a foundation to fight the severe addiction battle. 

Matthew Perry was found dead in a hot bathtub on 28 October in his LA home. Though the autopsy results are completed, they are deferred due to a pending toxicology report.
