The much-awaited film will now be released in theatres tomorrow (on August 11). When the makers of ‘OMG: Oh My God’ announced that they are making a sequel to the ‘OMG: Oh My God’, many felt that the film will surely see the camaraderie between Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. But, when the makers said that, the film will not have Paresh Rawal, it had upset many. And when it was announced that the void left by Paresh Rawal would be filled by yet another equally stellar performer Pankaj Tripathi, everyone was super excited to see what he brings to the table.

Even though Akshay Kumar was initially supposed to be playing the role of Lord Shiva, the Censor Board then, decided to call his character as the ‘Messenger of God’. Pankaj Tripathi’s character in the film addresses Akshay Kumar’s character as ‘Maharaj’ and ‘Prabhu’.
