Following its mega success, the film was released in various languages, with Red Giant Movies presenting it in Tamil.

Premalu-fame Mamitha makes Tamil debut

Mamitha Baiju has become a household name in the south, thanks to the hit film Premalu. The actor is soon set to make her Tamil debut with Rebel. The film is set to release on March 22.

Rebel is a period action drama starring GV Prakash in the lead role. It is set against the backdrop of Munnar and revolves round the conflicts and prejudices faced by Tamil students. Mamitha will play the role of a Malayali student in this film directed by debutant Nikesh RS. GV Prakash has also scored the music for the film.
