It looks like the producers of Superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer are on a gifting spree. The film, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, has Rajinikanth, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Mohanlal, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi and Tamannaah as part of the star cast. The action entertainer has emerged as one of the biggest hits of Rajinikanth.

Jailer producer's special gift to the crew
The success meet of Jailer was held last evening in Chennai which had Nelson Dilipkumar and producer Kalanithi Maran in attendance. And on the occasion, 300 crew members were gifted with Jailer coins which had the word 'Jailer' inscribed on them. The success meet is all set to be aired on Sun TV on the occasion of Vinayagar Chaturthi. It is to be noted that Kalanithi Maran had given cheques and luxury cars to Rajinikanth, Nelson Dilipkumar and music composer Anirudh Ravichander. 

Nelson who received a Porsche from the makers, had written on his social media handle, "Thank u very much Mr #kalanithimaran sir for being so generous and gifting me this beautiful car for the success of #jailer really proud and happy to have been associated with u and the cheque was really an add on surprise @rajinikanth sir @sunpictures (sic)."

Meanwhile, videos of pictures of Rajinikanth meeting the Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, are now doing the rounds on the internet. The Jailer actor is seen in the traditional veshti, the Malaysian PM is in a suit. The duo are seen exchanging some hearty greetings and are seen having a good time chatting with each other.


Jailer continues to receive footfalls despite its OTT release

 Jailer, which has already raked in more than Rs 600 crore at the box office, continues to run in theatres and receive footfalls despite its OTT release. The film dropped on Amazon Prime Video on September 7 and has now emerged as one of the most watched movies on the platform.
