Samuthirakani reveals his character in Ajith Kumar's Thunivu, unveils stills from location; fans overwhelmed

It was only an hour ago that Manju Warrier came up with the announcement of having lent voice for a song in Thunivu. Her picture with music composer Ghibran has been storming the internet as soon as she posted it from her social media page. Fans of Ajith and other movie buffs have been expressing curiousity about the song's genre.

Now, Samuthirakani, who plays an important role in the film, has revealed a couple of stills from the location. He is donning a cop's role in the heist drama as the actor-filmmaker is seen wearing a khaki in the pictures.

One of the pictures has him standing next to director H Vinoth while the latter is seen giving instructions to someone. The other still has him posing for a photo along with Vinoth and cinematographer Nirav Shah. The lensman worked with Ajith and Vinoth's earlier collaborations Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai, too.

Samuthirakani had announced his inclusion in Thunivu by posting a picture along with Ajith on the day the film's first look poster was unveiled. Fans of Ajith are surprised with the actor unexpectedly offering a treat to them. They are now eager to know if the team has more surprises in the offing.

Samuthirakani was seen in the role of a cop in Chiranjeevi's recent outing Godfather as well. No other actor's character in Thunivu has been revealed yet. The makers have been tight-lipped about the film's information ever since the project went on floors earlier this year.

John Kokken, Prem Kumar and Kavin are a few others who will be seen in notable characters in the film bankrolled by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios.
