Sonali Bendre has been in the Hindi film industry for almost 30 years now. The actress started her acting career with the film Aag in 1994. She shared screen space with Govinda in the movie. Later on, Sonali starred in several Hindi movies, including Duplicate, Zakhm, Angaaray, Hum Saath Saath Hain, and more. The actress also ventured into the OTT space with ZEE5's web series, The Broken News, in 2022. The second season of the same show is set to release on the platform. Sarfarosh

Sonali Bendre played a pivotal role in the 1999 film Sarfarosh. Written, directed and produced by John Matthew Matthan, the action thriller featured Aamir Khan as ACP Ajay Singh Rathod and Sonali as Seema Nagrath. Sarfarosh sheds light on an Indian police officer's quest to stop cross-border terrorism. The film, which had a theatrical release in 1999, is available to stream on ZEE5.

Hum Saath Saath Hain

Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, Hum Saath Saath Hain was a Hindi drama film that was released in cinemas on November 9, 1999. The film starred Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Sonali Bendre, Mohnish Bahl and Madhuri Dixit Nene in pivotal roles. The actress was seen as Dr Preeti in the film.

Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain

Sonali Bendre was paired opposite Govinda in Mahesh Manjrekar's film Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain. The actress was seen as Saavni in the movie, while Govinda played the titular role of Ganga. Their film was a story about Gangaram, aka Ganga, living a simple life in a village with his parents and his childhood friend Saavni. If you missed watching the film on the big screen in 2000, you can re-watch it on the streaming platform.

Angaaray

Mahesh Bhatt's directorial venture Angaaray is a Bollywood action film that stars Akshay Kumar, Nagarjuna, Pooja Bhatt and Sonali Bendre. The film, which was released in 1998, was reportedly inspired by the American film State of Grace. Sonali essayed the character of Roma in the film, which was about Inspector Amar being ordered to find the murderer of a businessman, Khanna.

Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai

Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai, featuring Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonali Bendre, was about Avinash falling in love with Preeti, a woman disowned by her family and shunned by her society. While Anil was seen as Avinash, Aishwarya played the role of Preeti. As for Sonali, the actress essayed the part of Khushi Malhotra in Satish Kaushik's film, released in 2000.
