Harom Hara, the first pan Indian film in Sudheer Babu’s career, is gearing up for an early 2024 release. Malavika Sharma plays the female lead in the Gnanasagar Dwaraka directorial, produced by Sree Subrahmanyeshwara Cinemas. The film’s teaser was launched by Prabhas, Tiger Shroff, Mammootty, Sudeep and Vijay Sethupathi recently. A press meet of the film was held today.

Discussing the film, Sudheer Babu shared, “I miss my father-in-law Krishna garu, I know I’ll have his blessings. I thank all the superstars who’ve launched the teaser. They were just a phone call away. My producers Sumanth and Subrahmanyam are the unsung heroes of the film. I knew that the script would cost a comb but they were ready for it. They asked if a film like KGF would get made if we think of budget?”

He opined that most producers are making films by trying to recover their investment through non-theatrical revenue like OTT, audio and satellite rights. “However, I don’t think it would work for every film. Only when the makers invest a budget according to the script, films like Pushpa, KGF and Baby get made. I hope my producers gain returns and respect with Harom Hara,” he added.

Sudheer was surprised when Gnanasagar Dwaraka said he could only imagine him in his film. “Very rarely do directors have knowledge on every craft in filmmaking, he has that. If you liked my screen presence in the teaser, he deserves all the credit. I don’t know if any director would showcase me so well on screen,” he stated. The actor was stunned with the aesthetics of the film after the first schedule.

Cinematographer Aravind Viswanathan will go places after the film, he brought a lot of energy to the film, the actor mentioned. A Ramanjaneyulu erected grand sets for the film, many apparently felt it was designed Salaar. He appreciated Chaitan Bharadwaj’s score too. “I am very happy with the rushes, there’s no scope for correction/improvement.”

On a parting note, he mentioned, “Harom Hara has great emotional highs and commercial appeal. It’s one of the strongest characters I’ve played. I believe it’ll be a game-changer in my career and will create wonders at the box office.”
