The news of Telugu Superstar Krishna's demise has left movie buffs shattered. They have been taking to social media to express condolences by sharing pics and video clips featuring him. Many celebs from film industries across the country have been sharing grief and remembering the veteran actor.

The biggest stars of Kollywood, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, were the first from the industry to offer respects to Krishna through tweets. The former reminisced the experience of having worked with the Tollywood star in three projects while the latter extended support to emotional Mahesh Babu.

After a while, Karthi, too, joined the bandwagon. Interestingly, the Sardar actor was the school mate of Mahesh in Chennai. All praise for the impact Krishna has made in the movie industry with his body of work for several years, the former said that the Tollywood senior entertained audiences worldwide and will stay in our hearts forever.

Karthi also went on to say that he was a super star who lived a complete life, and asked Mahesh to stay strong in his most difficult year. He tweeted, "Pls stay strong brother. It has been a very difficult year. My prayers and thoughts with you (sic)."

Later, Suriya also took to his Twitter page to pay condolences. He extended moral support to Mahesh for going through difficult times for the last few months. The Tamil actor's tweet read, "Our prayers and respects to Krishna garu, sending lots of love and strength to @urstrulymahesh and family. It’s been a tough year for you brother.. We are with you (sic)."

Mahesh's elder brother Ramesh and mother Indira Devi, too, had passed away this year, in January and September, respectively.
