Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna have begun the promotional spree for Animal. They recently marked their presence on Indian Idol 14. The duo promoted their upcoming movie and also entertained the contestants and judges. Ranbir recreated Rashmika's Saami Saami hook step from Pushpa. In fact, Kapoor also taught Kumar Sanu how to perfectly ace the dance move.

Ranbir along with his Animal co-star Rashmika grooved to the tunes of the hit Pushpa track. Interestingly, Indian Idol 14 judges Kumar Sanu and Shreya Ghoshal joined the duo. Host Hussain Kuwajerwala, also, flaunted his dance skills.

Ranbir Kapoor gets emotional on Indian Idol 14

The Animal star got emotional on the show as he received a special video message from his father-in-law, Mahesh Bhatt.

In the video, the veteran filmmaker said, "Alia, who I believe is a miracle, says Ranbir is one of the best actors in our country. But I believe Ranbir is the world’s best father. When he sees Raha (Ranbir and Alia’s daughter), I wish you could see his eyes at that time."

Ranbir got emotional and added, "He (Mahesh Bhatt) has never said such things to me in person. So thank you Indian Idol for this."

On the work front for Ranbir

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir is gearing up for the release of Animal. The film has been directed by Arjun Reddy filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Ranbir plays the titular role whereas Anil Kapoor essays the role of his father. On the other hand, Bobby Deol will be seen as an antagonist of the movie. 

The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 1, 2023. It will lock horns with Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur at the box office. After Animal will be released, Ranbir will take a break from movies for a while. The actor intends to spend more time with his family, especially with his daughter Raha.
