Actor and producer Dulquer Salmaan, who has a line-up of films, including Kaantha and I’m Game, has announced a new project with Telugu producers. Tentatively called DQ 41, the shooting for the project has begun with a ceremony on Monday.

DQ 41 update:

Dulquer Salmaan, who was last seen in Telugu period thriller Lucky Baskhar, is on a roll with some of the promising line-up of projects. On Monday, the actor announced his next project, DQ 41, which has gone on floors.

Dulquer is teaming up with debutant director Ravi Nelakuditi for a contemporary love story intertwined with rich human drama. The film will be produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, marking the production house’s milestone 10th venture, #SLV10.

The launch event was held in Hyderabad with special guests being Nani, director Buchi Babu Sana, Gunnam Sandeep, and Ramya Gunnam. The first shot of the film was directed by Ravi Nelakuditi himself.

Touted to be made with high production and technical values, the cast of the upcoming film is yet to be announced. The technical crew consists of Anay Om Goswamy handling the cinematography, GV Prakash Kumar will compose the music, and Avinash Kolla is on board as the production designer. The movie will release in multiple languages including Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil languages. A release date is yet to be announced.
