Aavesham is a 2024 Malayalam film, helmed by Jithu Madhavan and starring actor Fahadh Faasil in the role of an eccentric gangster Rangannan. In a recent interview with the Cue Studio, Fahadh spoke about how the film was not initially planned as a big-scale movie, which he has also co-produced.
“Primarily, 10-15 days into the shoot, Jithu would have also probably realised the possibility of that character. And that is how it became big," Fahadh explained, adding that it was a layered process.
While stating that it is packaged for a theatrical experience, Fahadh Faasil further said that Aavesham has the emotions that are associated with mass (films) - whether it is humour or scenes that will leave you teary-eyed.
You can watch Aavesham on JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium. Aavesham follows three Malayali youths who enrol at an engineering college in Bangalore, where they get beaten up by seniors.
