Happy Raj is an upcoming Tamil film starring composer GV Prakash Kumar in the lead role. With the entertainer set to release in theatres this month, the makers have been conductions special screenings. Those who watched Happy Raj have been giving glowing reviews for the film, heaping praises on a certain actor known for doing character roles.

Happy Raj: What are early reviews saying about GV Prakash film?

We had earlier reported that actor-composer GV Prakash will be headlining a Tamil film titled Happy Raj. The film is slated for a theatrical release in a few days. Before this, a section of industry folks was able to watch the film and reviewed Happy Raj on social media.

Industry tracker Karthik Ravivarma posted his review of Happy Raj and called it a 'winner'. Further he broke down the first half as 'fun-filled' and second half having emotions. "George Maryan steals the show. The father–son emotion works very well. 2K and Gen Z kids will emotionally connect more in this film," he wrote.

GV Prakash who was last seen in Lucky The Superstar, had been facing some box office failures as actor, including films like Blackmail, and Kingston. It is expected that Happy Raj will break the curse for the actor-composer to witness a success.

Happy Raj is set to release in theatres on March 27. Besides GV Prakash, the film also features actors Abbas, Sri Gouri Priya, George Maryan, Geetha Kailasam and others. Written and directed by filmmaker Maria Raja Elanchezian in his debut, the music is scored by Justin Prabhakaran. The film is shot by Madhan Chirstopher and edited by Selva RK.
