What is Mahavatar Narsimha all about?

As the name suggests, Mahavatar Narsimha is about one of the ten incarnations of Hindu deity Vishnu, Narasimha – a half-human, half-lion creature. The animated feature revolves around Narasimha battling the evil force called Hiranyakashipu with the help of his son Prahalada, a devotee of Vishnu. The film is based on the Hindu myth, and is directed by Ashwin Kumar. It is the first of the planned seven-part franchise based on the other avatars of Vishnu.

Aditya Raj Sharma, Haripriya Matta, Sanket Jaiswal, Priyanka Bhandari and others are part of the cast. Notable Tamil composer Sam CS had scored the music for Mahavatar Narsimha. Ashwin Kumar and Ajay Varma worked on the edits.
