Looks like the Malayalam film Sarvam Maya starring actor Nivin Pauly, is not ready to wind up its dream theatrical run even after the feel-good movie's recent OTT release on JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium. Nivin Pauly has confirmed that the Akhil Sathyan directorial is continuing its successful theatrical run and has crossed the coveted Rs 150 crore mark at the global box office.

Sarvam Maya, which made its OTT debut on January 30, continues to run successfully in theatres, its lead actor Nivin Pauly has said on social media. He also shared that the feel-good film has made over Rs 150 crore in worldwide collections, along with a new poster of Sarvam Maya.

“₹150 crores worldwide. A truly unforgettable theatrical run. Sarvam Maya is now streaming on JioHotstar and still running successfully in theatres near you!,” he wrote in the caption.

Also starring actress Riya Shibu, Sarvam Maya premiered in theaters on December 25, 2026, as a Christmas release. With its simplistic yet heart-warming tale and performances of the lead cast, the film won mostly positive responses from audiences and had a dream run.

What is the plot of Sarvam Maya

Sarvam Maya follows Prabhendu, who seeks to get a break in the music world as a guitarist. When he faces a financial crunch, the atheist Prabhendu is forced to go home and take up his family’s traditional priestly duties. During an attempt to conduct an exorcism, the spirit ends up following Prabhendu. But instead of a scary horror movie, Sarvam Maya gives an endearing tale about a ghost who is as clueless about herself as Prabhendu is. Riya Shibu plays the gen Z ghost, one of the key highlights of the film.

Nivin’s frequent collaborator Aju Varghese is also part of the film along with Janardhanan, and Preity Mukhundhan.
