Ayan Mukerji and Karan Johar have collaborated on three films so far. They have worked together on Wake Up Sid, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Brahmastra. A few months ago, it was reported that the filmmaker and Karan had a fallout over the upcoming installments of Brahmastra. As per media reports, the fallout happened after Ayan approached other production houses for Brahmastra 2 and 3.

However, that all seems to be in the past now. According to a Hindustan Times report, Ayan and Karan have apparently let bygones be bygones.

Ayan Mukerji patches up with Karan Johar?

As per Hindustan Times, Ayan recently met Karan at his Mumbai office. "So the Brahmastra-related friction seems to have ended. Karan is Ayan's mentor, so the bitterness was sure to end. They are looking for ways to collaborate again," a source told the publication.

There were also rumours about Karan being upset with Ranbir Kapoor as he apparently sided with his filmmaker friend Ayan. However, the source dismissed this speculation by mentioning that Karan shares a close bond with Ranbir, as Alia Bhatt is married to the actor.

The source added that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, featuring Ranbir, is close to KJo's heart. In fact, the filmmaker-producer messaged and praised RK after watching the Animal trailer.
