PremiumHIT – The First Case: Rajkummar Rao is very thrilled about his first action flick

Actor Rajkummar Rao is excited about his forthcoming film HIT – The First Case as it is the first time that he will be seen in an action film. A remake of the Telugu film of the same name, Rao said he was never offered an action film before HIT – The First Case.
Rajkummar is a trained martial artist. According to Indian Express, the actor said during the trailer launch that he thoroughly enjoyed doing the film. “The action is real, organic and raw. This is a film I am proud of, it is presenting me in a different avatar. It is a good investigative thriller,” the actor said.
The film is directed by Sailesh Kolanu. The filmmaker expressed his wish to create a cop universe in Hindi as well. “Like in Telugu, we have made a second case and we plan to make it in Hindi too. I want to create a cop universe. My vision is to bring all the officers together. There will be subsequent cases through personal arcs and we will work with Raj and Sanya. The intention is to make it into a huge cop universe where the boundaries are blurred,” he said.
The film also stars Sanya Malhotra. The makers have recently dropped the trailer and is gaining immense popularity among the fans. Fans expressed their excitement to catch a show of the film on social media.
Meanwhile, the suspense thriller in Telugu starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma. The Hindi remake is being produced by T-Series and Dil Raju Productions.
The film is set to be released on July 15, 2022. Following its theatrical release, the film will be accessible on Netflix but the OTT release date has not been announced yet.
On the work front, Rajkummar will also star in Mr and Mrs Mahi with Janvi Kapoor. Apart from that, he will appear in Stree 2 and will co-star with Bhumi Pednekar in Anubhav Sinha's Bheed.
Sanya, on the other hand, will next be seen in Anant Joshi's Netflix original film Kathal. She will also appear in Jawan, opposite Shah Rukh Khan and alongside Nayanthara.
