We had earlier reported that actor Suriya has joined the Kanguva team in the film's post-production phase, with the actor dubbing his lines for the character. While Kanguva is one of the illustrious and much-anticipated projects to come out of the Tamil film industry in 2024, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to produce the best results.
In line with this, the makers have set up a post-production studio, Aadnah Arts Studio, which begins its journey with Suriya's Kanguva. The studio is named after producer KE Gnanavel Raja's daughter, Aadnah.
The makers of Kanguva have revealed that the film has entered the post-production phase, with actor Suriya beginning to dub for his portions. In a statement released, the makers said, "As the post-production work progresses at a rapid pace, the anticipation among fans and industry circles reaches unprecedented heights. The film is set to captivate audiences across the nation as it is released in multiple languages, promising a cinematic experience like no other.”

Directed by Siruthai Siva, Kanguva is the most ambitious project to date in Suriya’s career. With a massive scale of budget and production values, it is expected that Kanguva will feature Suriya in two different looks, with the narrative unfolding in two different timelines. One will feature a modern avatar, while the other will see Suriya embodying the appearance, attire, and spirit of a warlord from prehistoric times.
Backed by Studio Green, Kanguva is yet to get a release date. The film also stars Hindi actors Bobby Deol and Disha Patani, along with Yogi Babu and Natarajan Subramaniam. Bobby, who was last seen in Animal, will be playing the role of menacing Udhiran, the antagonist in the Suriya-starrer. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music, with Vetri handling the cinematography. Marketed as a pan-Indian film, Kanguva is expected to have a multiple language release, including in Tamil and Hindi. The film will mark Suriya’s first collaboration with Siva.
