Recently, the streamer casually listed Replicas, starring Keanu Reeves, under their ‘Coming Soon’ section on the app. However, there was no release date attached to the film at that time. It turns out we might now have figured out when the film will hit the streaming platform. Below is everything you should know about the massive update of the day.
Replicas, for the uninitiated, stars Keanu Reeves alongside Alice Eve and was released theatrically back in 2019, generating considerable buzz during its run on the big screen. However, the film is now finding a second life on streaming, with Lionsgate Play re-releasing it. The streamer has been releasing many older films on their platform for a while, and fans have been having a great time. However, the wait for Replicas is going to be longer than we thought.
While the streamer listed the movie in the Coming Soon section quite early, the movie is not going to be released on the streamer until the end of June. Yes, you read that right. Replicas will release on Lionsgate Play on June 28, 2024. There is a long list of movies already slated to re-release on the app before that, including Zac Efron’s The Iron Claw, Adrift, and Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon.
