RC16: Jahnvi Kapoor approached to play the female lead in the Ram Charan-Buchi Babu sports drama

Ram Charan embraced fatherhood, welcoming a baby girl into the Konidela family. The little bundle of joy has been named Klin Kaara Konidela, and both Charan and Upasana are relishing precious moments with their adorable daughter. While cherishing this new phase in his personal life, Ram Charan is gearing up to resume shooting for his latest film Game Changer, directed by Shankar.

Apart from this film, Ram Charan has also committed to star in a sports drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame. The pre-production for this ambitious project has commenced, and it has been revealed that the film will feature a coastal backdrop and will be a high-budget production amounting to 300 crores. 

Now, adding to the excitement, there is news that none other than Janhvi Kapoor has been approached to play the female lead in this film. Initially, Jahnvi Kapoor was supposed to romance Ram Charan in RRR but it did not happen and the makers approached Alia Bhatt for the role. 

Well, Janhvi will be making her debut with Jr NTR's film Devera, which is on the floors as of now. If she okays the Ram Charan film, there will be no looking back for her in Telugu cinema as back-to-back films with NTR and Ram Charan will put her in the top spot automatically.

Apart from Janhvi Kapoor, we at OTTplay had already reported that yesteryear actress, Laya, has also been approached for a significant role in the film. Laya, who achieved great popularity in the early 2000s, has since become a social media sensation following her marriage. The buzz surrounding Janhvi Kapoor and Laya's involvement in the project has become the talk of the town in Telugu states.
